Long Time...No Talk....

Well yes it has been aaages since I last wrote in here...sorry about that, had no good material, not that this is either...but i thought id just wtack my brain and see what I could come up with, so here goes...

Firstly, one question I have to ask, coz it has been running through my mind for a while now... What's with having people knock on the toilet door when you're in there and they know you're there then a minute later they knock again, if its a small room with the only way out being the door and there's someone still inside, and the door hasn't opened...there is a good chance that yes, they are still inside. So stop knocking!!

What else? hmm. This week in New Zealand, ever since we were told that scientists say that 25% of our ozone layer has gone...we have had very hot sunny days like it was summer already.

!?!?!?!?!Funky Friday!?!?!?!?!

Heeeey all!!
Sorry I havn't written in aaages, been really busy, lots of essays and reports and dramas within themselves...
Then theres friday nite...
Steff and I finally decided we couldnt be bothered making dinner so we went out to town. It was around 10pm and walked past maccas incase the seating area was open, nope still only take away or freeze ur butt off outside. So we kept walking to BK, mmm BK. After waiting at the counter for about 10 minutes they decided to serve us and i asked for 2 of the meal thingys, and wen they put them on the trays the guy said it was burgers only i said we ordered the meals... so in the end we got the full meals and we onlt paid for the burgers... sweet!
Then we found out the BK crowns were free so us being us.. got one lol.

We were sitting in BK for about 3 hours or more just chatting was a quiet nite, we stayed till they were about to close, close to 2am. We had very random people that were yelling at each other between booths with Steff and I in the middle. And in the left corner... 2 really drunk ditsy females, and in the right corner looks like a whole family and dodgey daad... its the guuuyssss. lol, and and both females and males were talking bout their experiences with the human anatomy. So glad we had finished dinner a while ago...

So our crowns, yeah they bring attention to ourselves, hehe. When we left BK, we went around town, a few cop cars, lots of drunk people having a good time, people asking bout our crowns lol, was a great night/ morning. We plan on taking our crowns out more frequently on a friday nite/ morning lol.

Well thats all for now, bettera get back to this dumb essay that is due on wednesday, and monday is almost over here...bugger. It's only coz I lost the vital piece of information that would enable me to start and prob. finish this at least 1800 word essay. Ha, my brain is lame sometimes.
Anyways..

Remembering A Special Someone

I can't believe it's been three years now, September 14, 2003. I still remember the last few weeks before and after you left. A week before, we came up and saw you and even though you were sick it was like you were still okay. Nana had interesting hand towels in the bathroom, that had animal prints doing random things like a cow ironing a t shirt and burning a hole in it, or a pig holding onto the washing line spinning around. I took one and neatly folded it and put it into my pocket, not knowing this memory would be the last one with you and nana together at your house. I still have the paper towel, although it's white it hasnt got dirty and still looks brand new, I bring out from time to time, just thinking. I think I remeber you telling me to have a good time in Australia, because our class was going there on September 15, and to have fun...

The next week, my sister and I got messages in school, we don't normally get messages to get pulled out of class, we knew something was wrong. That day was really weird we signed out and met dad and he took us home and my brother was home with mum, weird. Next thing dad tells us you're very sick in hospital, and we are driving to Auckland, the car ride up for the 2 and a half hours seemed really weird coz it was mostly silent, we didn't know what to say. The rest of the family was there when we got there, we saw you for a bit but it was too much for my sister and she had to leave the room, I wish I had given you the hug I was going to, but with everyone else around me crying and my sister and seeing you in the bed like that it was too much, i'm sorry. I went to the room next door and looked after my sister, when we left that day, mum stayed. Everyone kept telling me that you would've still wanted me to go to Australia, even though leading up to australia I couldn't wait, at that time it wasn't even on my mind.

That week was pretty hard at school knowing that you were in hospital, really really sick, on the Sunday, the day you died, dad took my sister and I to hamilton an hour and a half away from you... we had a hockey game, and the next day I was off to Australia. We love our hockey and you always talked with us about it, and as we were playing our game that day, dad got a call from mum saying you had died. The coach knew as well, we won that game, and later dad told us; it was a shock and hard to believe.

Going to school on Monday was really hard, and knowing that by the evening I would be leaving NZ and missing your funeral. Everything was weird, the long bus drive to Auckland was hard nothing to do and all I could think about was you, besides the trying not to be sick from the trip, and trying not to cry. In Australia, it was a whole new experience, seeing as i'd never travelled overseas before, over there it felt like nothing had happened and everything was normal, and when i'd get back you would be there. When I got back it was weird, my sister was with mum in Auckland with nana for a few weeks, that week I was back I cried myself to sleep everynight, I missed you so much. Everyone misses you a lot and wishes you were still here.

Writing down my memories to you hekps me to not forget, as I wrote this I tried not to, but was crying most of the time,
we love you and miss you

We found a possibility why you died on that day, it was the day you were released from the prison camp.

Just another Manic Monday...
This was written in the code that I made during a boring class, which is now easy to write, coz had lots of time...this is in english, but the code is simple yet fun. And I was bored so wrote random stuff, so you all know...

Anyways this is the decoded message:

Are we ready for another extremely interesting class? everybody raise your hands! what no hands? Come on you might enjoy it, no?, yeah I understand it makes you want to go to sleep. Oi you! wake up! oh wait... you didn't miss anything, just thought i'd wake you up and you can share the boredness with me. Share and share a like I say; wow this is a great turnout today, no really, twelve people. Hmm havn't we covered this before?
Oi you! stop snoring you're in class, if you think you should have the pleasure in falling asleep in class then you have another thing coming. If i'm awake, you're awake, yeah I woke you up, opps. What are they talking about again? oh yeah, the stuff i've already done.

You know what? if you don't look at the board you don't get as tired, interesting. What can you do when your class is really, Oi You There! wake up! where was I? oh yeah, really boring.
Did you think I was gonna say... the most excellent class ever?
As said by Jim Carey..."Wrongo".

Anyways that was as far as I wrote I left class early...

Have a good one!!

Very Spikey!!
This freaky looking creation took me ages and there are about 2 other triangles with holes and four sides...
This too is all clay, took me a bit to get the spikey ball on the top let me tell you. I also almost sold the other two quad tri spikes at a show we had at school, but theyre real kewl aren't they...I think it's quite kewl, and its red on the ends of the spikes, just for a bit of colour.

...Smile... it makes people wonder what your up to :)

The Boulder Fountain...
This was made like the clock, and all these sculptures are out of clay... this one the water is poured in the top and goes all around the water slides and into the bowl at the end. The bowl itself has a glass bottom to get the water effect, I melted chinese marbles and it looks good.

The Scarab Beetle...
This is another sculpture I made out of clay, we had to do canopic jars and so this is one of them.
The beetle is painted in bronze with a green background as you can see from the pic.

...Bright Oogledike...

This is the creature behind the name of the blog, this is oogledike, and it's bright colours. Funnily enough wen u shine blue light on the white spots and the fluff and eyes it goes different colours, how cool.
Just thought i'd share where I named my blog.

Have an awesome morning, day, night :)

They call themselves "The Rustlers"
Take Two...

I was trying to get the picture working of "The Rustlers" at my house... after our journey, but the picture i scanned won't work. In this picture, Steff's brother has lost all his paper clothes, but he still has the sword.
Steff's hat strap broke, i'm fine, and my sister's skirt broke on her and there is a random sticker on her leg that says 30% off! lol.

More to say, have a GREAT Day!!
or night :P
